This is a contrived sentence. The specific bulb type or wattage does not "enable" a given screen resolution or "enable" a given contrast ratio.
I don't think the unit's appearance matters that much, it looks good enough. Bright Sanyos are usually ceiling-installed in large rooms and well out of the way, most people don't see them.
